They met through friends:
I think we take for granted our circle of friends too often…we forget that through our friends we meet their friends, who in turn can turn into our friends also – and sometimes in situations like KaLynn and Brandon’s it can turn into a lifetime of love! How awesome are friends?! These 2 met through mutual friends back in 2012 after the new year and before the year was over they were deep in love. Their relationship has been simple from the beginning, not over complicated with details or arguments, rather it’s been one that’s fit like a puzzle piece falling into place. They both distinctly remember that within the first couple weeks of dating they felt they had been together for months. The reality of the infancy of their relationship only set in when KaLynn realized Brandon had more to learn about her 😉 – they were at a baseball game and he went to go get some drinks and snacks. He brought back some diet sodas, all fine except that KaLynn not only doesn’t really drink sodas, but she definitely doesn’t drink diet sodas! haha. But with time they have continued to learn and treasure the personalities they share and bring to the table, making them a perfect fit for each other!
He proposed at Atlanta’s Botanical Gardens:
When Brandon was ready to make this girl his wife, he was able to surprise her with a romantic proposal at Christmas time at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. After asking her dad for her hand in marriage, he arranged for them to go see the lights and gardens together. What KaLynn didn’t know is that she would leave the Botanical Gardens as a fiance! Brandon did his homework and found the most romantic spot to propose in and then had her family prepared to hang back and record the proposal. As soon as her family started to hang back, KaLynn’s perception kicked in and sure enough Brandon got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage! This was everything she could have ever imagined and more.
They wed at Callaway Gardens:
So it couldn’t be more fitting that they exchanged vows and celebrated the beginning of their life together through a Callaway Gardens wedding. They shared this destination wedding together with their closest family and friends. We enjoyed gorgeous backdrops of unique and tropical foliage, as well as, an intimate ceremony inside a chapel hidden deep in the woods. Ida Cason Memorial Chapel is stunning. With the only light coming through stain glass windows and ancient wooden pews, you feel as though you have escaped from our fast-paced life and can really let time stop as you witness 2 people committing their lives to one another. We then celebrated at the Lodge and Spa at this Callaway Garden’s wedding. It was a lovely night full of dancing and relaxed conversations.
Congratulations KaLynn and Brandon, you two make an adorable couple and I know that you will keep each other laughing into old age! Cheers to marriage!
