Fayetteville Engagement Session | Columbus, GA Photographers | Molly & Andy

Their story: Across the ocean

Molly and Andy have one of the most incredible stories I’ve ever heard! While Molly’s sister, Maddie, was in Australia she became close friends with two Austrailian guys…Andy and his best friend, Pete. After Maddie returned home to the States and the guys coming to visit, there was no interest that sparked between Molly and Andy – BUT another love story was in the making as Pete and Maddie began to date and quickly after that got married. Through that process, Molly enjoyed the perks of having a future brother-in-law from Australia by going on a trip with her family to meet Pete’s family. It was that trip that ignited some sparks between Andy and Molly and let’s just say the rest is now history! So to recap – yes, two adorable sisters, Molly and Maddie, are making two best friends “brother-in-laws”! Pete and Andy sure did hit the jackpot with these two amazing sisters!

Their engagement session: Molly’s family home in Fayetteville, GA.

Andy proposed to Molly in Australia at his family’s ranch and so it was only fitting that they celebrate this engagement by doing a Fayetteville engagement session at Molly’s family estate! They both enjoy cooking together and dream about the day when they will be able to cook anytime, any day together with Andy permanently in the States with his wife 🙂 So they decided to spend part of their session in the kitchen making some delicious nachos together while sipping on their wedding drink, Peach Whiskey. Then we headed outside around her family’s property for some more formal portraits. Now, I have to mention Molly’s ring because it’s gorgeous! Molly knew that she wanted a ring that had a unique beauty to it, one with “side-detail”. She wasn’t sure if Andy would understand what that meant, but with great success as soon as Andy proposed the first thing he said to Molly was “Check out that side-detail!” I love it!! Most noteworthy though is that the center stone is Andy’s grandmother’s…what an honor!
