Kat and Bob are simply the sweetest! They both compliment each other so well and it’s clear that they are the best of friends. As soon as we met them over Christmas for their engagement session we knew these two were a perfect pair. Kat has this way of making everyone feel like a friend after only a few minutes of chatting and Bob listens so intently and selflessly you feel like you’re worth a million bucks. We know that they will continue touching lives and making deep relationships with others with these character traits. When Bob received a job an ER doctor in Texas, it didn’t take long for Kat to decide it was time to pack up and head to the great state to join her man. Thankfully, she was able to relocate herself fairly easily as she owns her own business. She creates her own hand-made jewelry, that is crafted and inspired from industrial aspects. So as you can imagine this wedding was unique to it’s core as they celebrated their union and enjoyed friends and family who traveled from both near and far.
Hilton Garden Inn Columbus, Ga was lovingly decorated with the yellow details that filled the reception hall and the gorgeous lawn where they held the ceremony. The green lawn was tastefully decorated with white chairs which faced a large gazebo and a backdrop of luscious green trees. Ann’s Porch did a phenomenal job with the florals throughout! I couldn’t imagine a better combination of flowers to create this eye-candy that compliments the hand-made bridesmaid dresses along with Kat’s elegant mermaid gown. As you will see there were many personal touches of which are specifically unique to this couple. Kat hand-crafted their wedding rings that you see directly below and then taught Bob some of these skills and he created her wedding band! How awesome is that?! When you are in the field of jewelry making you of course have talented friends as well. She had a friend cut the Ruby stone for her ring and another friend design her necklace, earrings, and the guy’s tie pins. Super cool stuff. And the art doesn’t end there…her mother made all the bridesmaid dresses! They fit perfectly with the wedding design and the girls absolutely rocked them! This wedding celebration lasted into the night with dancing, drinks outside on the patio, and many conversations.
Cheers Bob and Kat! I know you two have made Texas a greater state and will continue to bless other lives that you come across both in your careers and personal lives!
