This couple is dear to our hearts because they were the first couple to book us when we moved to Columbus, GA this past summer. When I initially met Haley over coffee, I knew she was the perfect example as to why we love wedding photography…more than being photographers, we love becoming genuine friends with our couples. She is such a genuine, light-hearted, and positive gal with a deep faith in Jesus – no wonder everyone loves her! I instantly teared up when she told me that she was going to do whatever it took to invest in us for her wedding day photography, even if it meant her picking up a second job…incredible.
Jacob and Haley met earlier in life than most. They have the distinct honor of being able to say they are highschool sweethearts and now are beginning their journey as an Army husband and wife. After graduating highschool, getting engaged, and seeing Jacob off to basic training, Haley demonstrated a heart of gold; full of perseverance, gratefulness, and love. As I experienced planning my wedding without Randall, since he was deployed, I felt a deep empathy for Haley as she spent her engagement away from her fiance as well. She planned a Christ-centered wedding, that honored their new life of Jacob’s service to our country. It also had sweet personal touches throughout like their classic-book center pieces, her 1940’s Valley Rescue Mission thrift store wedding gown, and delicate flower crown…so so cool!
Jacob, you have truly found a treasure in your wife Haley. I can testify that she will follow you excitedly, support you wholeheartedly, and make your life full of laughter and joy! Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Struecker!
