the beginning: Panama City, FL
Megan and Barry met in 2010 on Valentine’s Day through Megan’s older brother. Megan had first noticed Barry’s kind and warm smile, but it was his love for the Lord and kind heart that drew her in and forever made her his biggest fan! She distinctly remembers a time when they visited his grandmother together in the nursing home and as she watched him interact with her, Megan’s heart simply melted and she knew he was a keeper. After a few years of dating, Barry was excited to ask for her hand in marriage and so he invited her over to his house after she finished class. When Megan entered his house she was surprised to see the room lit with candles and on the floor in the shape of a heart were all the crafts, letters, and gifts she had made him over the years – Barry then got down on one knee and she said, YES! I love the testimonies given of these two by Megan’s younger sister, older brother, and dad. Through and through the same things were said; they love Jesus and people so so well. Do I need to say more?!
the ceremony: Highlands Room at Rivermill Event Centre Wedding
Since the most pinnacle aspects of their relationship involve Jesus (their Lord and Savior) and their family, they decided to do a destination wedding in Columbus, GA at the Rivermill Event Centre. So these Panama City Floridians came north to wed in the Rivermill Chapel! The Chapel was romantically lit and had soft melodies playing in the background, thanks to Dave and his wife with The DJ Company. Megan picked out a beautiful combination of pink-hues for her flowers (which complimented the light pink chiffone bridesmaid dresses beautifully if I might say so myself) and Ann’s Porch did a magnificent job bringing it all to life! Small flower boutiques lined the isle and two larger flower displays marked the columns at the alter. Because it was a destination wedding, they enjoyed an intimate group of family and friends that came to witness their marriage vows and celebrate their union with them, which allowed them to spend great quality time with everyone that attended.

We then enjoyed the garden at the Rivermill for more portraits after the ceremony. We couldn’t have been more blessed with gorgeous weather and beautiful scenery to capture this love! We enjoyed a lot of time with Megan and Barry as they chose to do a first look and share those intimate moments just the two of them, as well as more pictures after they said “I do”. We had the distinct pleasure of working side by side with Rivermill’s wedding coordinator, Beth. She made the day run so smoothly as she kept all the day’s moving pieces in order, down to checking in with Megan and Barry during portraits to see if they wanted any refreshments…what a blessing! The Rivermill’s () Room was so lovely and the perfect fit for Megan and Barry’s celebration! The pink roses and white linens against the room’s large windows and exposed brick couldn’t be more exquisite. The newlyweds enjoyed a delicious dinner and dessert bar (by the award winning Chef, Jamie Keating) before they opened up the dance floor with tear-jerking dances with their parents (at least I wasn’t the only one tearing up during Megan and her dad’s dance 😉 haha. The DJ Company was a pleasure to work with again, and just as they always do, they had the dance floor filled the entire night! We couldn’t be more thankful for talented DJs and the atmosphere they create! Enjoy this lovely celebration of love between the newest Mr. and Mrs. Bradley, congratulations you two!!
